I don't want to get ripped off at the dealer and have them adjust my valves so I want to do it myself. I have rebuilt two honda civic engines and one chevy 350 engine and adjusted the valves in those but have never messed with this type of valve train before. I just need a explaination of where the adjustments are made. I took the valve cover off the top of the head and I see the overhead cams and that the cam followers (lifters in a chevy) are under the cam with no adustment visible. I checked the clearences with a feeler guage and they are within there tolerable range. But I know eventually that I will need to adjust them. Do I need to take the cams out to adjust the valves? Do I use shims? Thanks
