I heard that gently hammering down on the notches right to the right of the rear sprockets, slightly extends the rear end, which in turn tightens the chain. Is this true and if so is it safe??

Use the tool kit for what?

Theirs a tool in that kit that fits right in there to adjust it. I think you push down to tighten it,first you have to loosen the 4 bolts of course.

Ya the four bolts on the back of the swing-arm, I didnt no that there was a tool though, that would have made things alot easier, i used a flat head and a hammer, haha im stupid
