[kfx 450r rider]

i got my pingel killswitch today. ive never used one so i have no idea how to wire it.

The first thing you want to do is mounted on your handlebars... I will take some photographs and give you detailed wiring instructions in two days (if you could wait).

Which type of Pingel did you pick up? Should have been Pingel Part #640 (Normally Closed circuit, two-piece, 7/8"). If that's the one, just find the two wires going to the "Run On/Off" switch. If you're keeping the Black Blob on the bars for now, all you have to do is cut ONE of the wires going to the Run On/Off switch, then wire the Pingel Blue wire to one side, and the Pingel Red wire to the other side of it. It'll work like a charm just like that.

Can someone please post more info on how the Pingel works. Does it hook up into the kill/run switch on the handlebars?

We tried hooking up a pro armor kill switch from my raptor 700 to the kfx450. The coil on the kfx has 2 wires while the coil on the 700 has one wire going into the coil. Anyways when we hooked it up it ran once then when we pulled it blew the main fuse.


Sooo now im getting a pingel and need some more info, any help at all will help
