I talked to some one from K&N last week & thay said not for another month or so.

Psychosis why do you say that??? what do you use???

& I could not find a air filter on Trinity racings web site
I received an email back from David at Trinity Racing saying they had them $149.99

Some people swear by foam, some by paper.

Simple answer. Have you ever rebuilt quad engines? Every K&N ridden one is much worse for letting in dirt particles. Do research and see the tests. I am currently in college for motorcycle building and such and one of the first things we were taught was that K&N is pure junk.

It's the same w/cars/trucks. Running K&N is just flatout ignorant. If you wanna know more of this then take a K&N and ANY foam filter, even a stock one, and hold them up to a bright light. Notice that you can't see through the foam but you can see light right through the K&N. Well if you can see light then the particles are spaced far enough apart that well, dirt can easily pass through, not to mention water if you get any around it or ride in the woods.

Do research like I said. Yes, the K&N puts out a little more airflow b/c it has bigger holes in it. Which one will last your engine longer and keep it much cleaner? No brainer; foam.

I use No-Toil or UNI myself and have never had problems w/dirt getting through to the piston or anything. I've torn open quads that ran them though and every single one of them has had obvious scoring or "particle shots" from dirt getting into the cylinder.

So buy a K&N, have a dirtier engine, less protection, but a little more power; plus pay a whole lot more. Or buy any foam filter for much less, get better protection, be protected against water/moisture as well, and not have to worry about your piston getting screwed up from dirt. Outerwears help the K&N but the filter is a sheer waste of money.
