I work at a arctic car, bombardier, kawasaki shop and all the dry wieght numbers are stretched. Dry wieght is usually no battery, no shock oil, no coolant, no engine oil. the dry wieght is usually pretty far off what they acctually are. so far kawasaki has been closest to the wieght.

This scale might be okay if it was recently calibrated. Okay take all 4 to the same scale and weigh all of them the same day!

The latest dry weight figure I've seen is 345 for the KFX. Don't know why they took so long to decide
- some stunt no doubt. I wonder how many sales they lost? One at least- I was going to wait and buy one but it was heavier than the Yammy so I bought the YFZ. Good one kawasaki, maybe I'll buy one in a couple years after I save more dough. I do love my YFZ but I'd love EFI and Reverse too, well screw it its too late.

wow, honestly i thought the kfx was on the lighter side but currently the atv world wont hear of it, the kawi is still being overshadowed because everyones wating for honda to fart out an '09..... i cant wait till someone somewhere gets a kawi dialed in and explodes.... anyway enough of my rambling i thought the weights were

ds
kfx
trx (kick)
outlaw
trx
yfz
ltr
ktm

and i also remember when the yfz came out and there was all this fuss about the "350 lb" mark so i guess those days are gone huh....

I weighed both of my 450's, the kfx without headlights, front fender extensions, fuel intake and dasa pipe weighed in at 364lbs and my stock yfz with no lid and baffle weighed in at 367lbs, both with half tanks. My KFX 715 weighed in at 522lbs with the wheelie bar and 498 without it.

That's about what I thought it weighed, around 350lbs +/- 10
