kick starter
Anyone put the kick starter on yet? Just wondering if will start any faster with dead engine race starts?

Just had mine installed and picked up my quad.. It actually works fine, you really have to have the heel of your boot on the kicker because otherwise you can't get leverage..The rear of the boot just scrapes the heel guard but regardles it starts on the 3rd or 4th kick..Great back up in case the battery craps out!

A buddy of mine just had his kicker taken off and starter put back on. He was having trouble getting it started especially when it got hot. He has alot of motor work, high compression, and cams that made it hard to kick. The Kawis have a hard starting problem anyways and adding more compression makes it even worse when you are kicking it. If you notice, team Kawi isn't running the kick start and there is probably a reason. I would bet to say they know more about these bikes than anyone.

i can get one cheap if you PM me. I should have mine in a week. and hot starts sucks either way unless u do the tps mod. The kawi wont start for crap hot.
