my problem is when i shift from 3rd @9500rpm to 4th gear going up olds the bike will bog downand once it hits 5k i have to down shift fast or it will stall! ive tried adjusting the fuel on the pc3 buttons to the extreem ends with no results, checked the plug, with the fuelatv map and it looks good. WTF? do i need race gas on a stock compression motor? or just more power

91 octane from 76
max coolant temp of 215
sand star paddle
clean filter & oil

should not need race gas

sand stars are heavy tires and require allot more hp than normal for hill shooting.

I don't think you have enough power to turn them up Olds in 4th. Allot of bolt
on 450s only run 3rd gear up Olds.

More importantly is what mph you are running near the top.

37/38 mph and reving out of the powerband
what tire do u recommend?

I've also got the sandstars, they were my first dune tire.....i'm probably going with haulers for next season
mine were leftovers from my ltz400...think i might try to lighten them
