I went to my local kawasaki dealer the other day and had my pred with me and i stopped in and looked at the new kawi's and they gave me such a good deal i couldnt pass it up so i traded in my preddy and will now be riding green. I also ordered a pro circuit pipe. From what i hear this is supposed to be a good pipe for this quad since pro circuit is like kawi's aftermarket company like yoshi and suzuki? jw if this is true. I also have a power commander on the way. Also wondering how much difference this is gonna make?

lots.... throw the stock rear sprocket away & pick yourself up a 32 or 33 tooth & that thing will rip....

What applications are people needing to change the gearing for? Just wondering if XC racers think it needs a 33 rear sprocket. Is it a 34 stock?

We were putting a 13 on the front for X/C but now that we got the HMF pipe I wen't back to the 14 and it was awesome. The HMF pipe is awesome it gives you so much more torque and you can lug it in second in the woods and hills and the power never quits....

i live in iowa, they gave me 3100 for the pred but it's an 05 idk what you could get for an 04, and the dealer sold me the kawi for 7500 OTD and some odd dollars but i ended up paying like 5900 total for the quad, nerfs, pro circuit pipe, and power commander. IAXCracer i race the hare scrambles as well i live in vinton, it's between waterloo and cedar rapids, i got the kawi at leers cycle center in waterloo.Like i said i couldnt pass the deal up. What mapping do you use for the HMF pipe? Whats the stock gearing?

Stock is 14 front 38 rear.. I do alot of trail riding & some tight woods stuff & w/ the stock rear, It just was to slow for me in the stright's.

Dam thats one heck of a deal. I bet since you got 3100 for an 05 I could around 2500 for mine. I will have to do some checking for that good of a deal. I was wanting to wait for an 09

I was going to also, but the problems on the 08's seem to be fixed pretty easily so i'm not to worried. If leers gets another one i'll let you know but I think I got the last one for awhile.
