Discovered that i have a oil leak, coming from the bolt that both front engine mounts atach to.It's right side if you are sitting on it.It's not a major leak, and it seems like an odd place to have a oil leak.I'm wondering if it's a seal or if there is some sort of crack internally

the quad is still under warranty so i quess it's of to the dealer.I hope this won't turn into a pain in azz

Yeah, weird place to leak oil. Lower front motor mount. WTF?
I went on kaw's website and found a diagram of the motor, and where that bolt run's through both case's there should'nt be oil around it,so i'm thinking something cracked internally to be pushing a small amount of oil out when i get it good and hot.

My kawi was leaking oil from the gear shift, took to the dealer, they claimed they replaced the shift gasket once and it didnt work, then a second time and it appeared to be resolved. Well it still leaks (but a fraction of what it was) so im gonna take back after my dune trip this week to fix it once again. Pain in the axx

Just heard from the dealer today, the leak was coming from the casing just above the shift seal and not actually from the seal itself, now the dealer is waiting to hear from kawi and find out if the case needs to be replaced, his guess was kawi would have them split the case and replace the left half
I'm pissed cuz I got the bike 6 weeks ago and been in the shop for almost three already..sucks...oh well
