I noticed something similar and thought I was just imagining it........I was racing through the gears and when I hit 5th the power dropped a bit, I don't know the rpms but it went from real high to a mid-range...I'm bringing to the dealer next week to get this checked out..

installed a adjustable thermo switch from FLEX-A-LITE avaliable at napa auto parts....part #31147....find the fan relay, solder a wire to the pink wire and run it to the switch, run another wire to a ground, and place the probe through the radiator fins.....stock the fan comes on at 215 degrees and off at around 200...........now i have it set to turn the fan on at 195 and shuts off at 188 and still will use the factory temp as a failsafe
perma-cool sells a better (simular) unit but would have to order
