Just got my head back from getting ported and polished as well as angle cutting the valves and cleaning up the area where the valves seat. They told me there was alot to port on this baby. It's getting installed this week along with stage 3 intake cam and KX450F exhaust cam befoe hitting the dyno for the tune. Let me know what you guys think.

doesnt matter how it looks, but how it flows,
any flow bench #'s
No flow bench numbers. Guy who did it knows his stuff though. Any guestimates on head and camp hp increase over my Dasa pipe (fuel spec) and Fuel intake?

if it is a good port, then about 5/7hp peak

I had my KFX400 head ported and it was the best mod along with the intake, cams, and header/exhaust. It laid down 50HP and 38ft/lbs of torque. On the same dyno, the Honda TRX450 with an HRC kit only laid down 53 HP and a little more torque. Porting = very good!

A flow bench ain't much use unless you are talking multi cyliner heads. Basically, you are just cleaning up the casting flaws and mating the intake manifold. The polishing doesn't do much it will still accumulate carbon deposits and after a few rides it is slightly rough anyway. Your results may vary!

Out!

GRIMREAPER,

Looks sweet... How did your dyno numbers work out after your mods?
