if you only race, then why not loose the extra weight but for the other 80% of owners theres no reason to

I got sick of adjusting mine every time ya ride ya got to F/ with it for it to work right. what do you guys use it for anyway??? Park you quad on a hill alot???? put it in gear

I know, it seems that when I adjust it, every couple of rides it goes out of wack and needs to be re-adjusted. I just put it in gear now.

I took mine off on my old kfx, rode dunes and trails. Never had to use it. No difference for the new one.

are you adjusting the cable up by the bars? I adjusted the stop bolt and lock nut coming out of the back of the caliper in about one turn and that took care of adjustment issues. use my park brake while transporting for a little extra insurance...dont tie-down while in gear...
