I wanted to change the thubthrottle and make a twisthrottle conversion but i don´t know how to but the reverse buttom. Any one made the conversion already? What is the best way to make this mod?

Get a dr d reverse lever for a kfx 400. It mounts in the same spot except it goes directly on the handlebars.

does the stock KFX450 cable work with the Dr. D lever? I am installing a 400ex throttle on my KFX, and ordered the DR. D reverse lever, going to take the cable off and use the stock KFX450 one if it will work.

Dude, do not buy a KFX 400 Reverse Lever. I tried it was a pain in the ass. DR. D is making a 450 lever soon. Check back with them. A quick lesson on installing when you do get one. Just to the right of the front sprocket on the case. Take a 8" extension and use a 8mm socket and take bolt out. Pull on the whole cable assembly and the plunger comes out of the case. Once you have that out disconnect and reinstall new cable.

I didn't have any problems making it work, had to adjust the reverse cable some but no big deal. I am still using the stock reverse cable. Oh, and the 400ex thumb throttle feels SOOO much better.
