I have a question about the shocks on the KFX.

It appears the front shocks are VERY close in dimension to YFZ shocks. Am I right about this? How about the rear shock? Will a YFZ or TRX or Z400 or Predator(examples) or some other shock work on the rear? I would go measure myself, but my KFX is 70 miles away at the engine builder. I'm asking because we have access to several sets of good shocks for YFZ's, 450R's, and Predators (don't laugh, when built properly those Fox Shox kick a$$!) and I would like to see if any of them will work before I go buy a new set. I am going to have whatever shocks I use rebuilt anyway, so valving and spring rates is not an issue.

Thanks for any help.

They are all very similar and capable shocks. After a good rebuild/revalve they will all be very close. The only difference between them is the YFZ comes with hi/low speed compression adjustment.

Personally I think you'll be just as well off with a rebuild on your stockers as opposed to buying a different set of stockers and getting the rebuilt just the same.
