Okay right now i have a 02 400ex. I love how reliable its been but im starting to ride more and more agressive and its just not keeping up with the 450s and even the z400s

So as far as 450's go ive only riddin the yfz and its got a nice snappy motor feel but out in the desert it really tires u out on some stuff.

Ive yet to ride the kfx but im liking the reviews on it. I was woundering if any1 here actually races or rides in the desert with one and if its a good choice?

First, saw the title "should i get the kfc?" and though you were talking about the chicken place..

Where in the desert do you live? I live in Phoenix and ride all the time and would be glad to let you try er out.. There's a few good threads here that address this topic so snoop around...

haha yeah my bad with the kfc part

But no i live in Henderson NV, like 5min from lake mead and 15min from vegas. The riding im ushally in is alot off whoops,rocks,gravel,sand,silt type stuff so id like somthing with desent suspension so i dont like die out there like i do on my ex

Dude I like KFC too..

I live in Goodyear/Litchfield Park area. I have also been contemplating the KFX450.

Where do you ride. I would love a stab at the KFX. Presently riding a modded KFX400.

My main concern is the seat. Does it bother you after an hour???

I can ride all day and the seat doesn't bother me. It did the first few times I rode it but I am used to it now.

You can put HID lighting on it yourseld for 100 bucks. Should look sick. Ill have mine done next week.
