Just be glad you paid in pounds. When I lived ther I got paid in dollars and had to convert and took a real loss on anything I bought off base. But I wouldn't give any of those memories up for nothing.

I wish we could have road legal ATV's in america ! 99% of the states don't allow them because of the ways the laws are written.
