I am having the same problems starting as some of you have had and have read that I need to adjust the TPS voltage. Well where is this on the quad and how do i change it to the top end of the specs?

I sent mine in to the shop. It should be free for them to adjust it. The TPS is on the left side of the throttle body. I think it has two or three wires running to it. Get a repair manual off ebay for the kfx450 and that will get you the info you need.

The shop adjusted mine and they said that it is starting alot better. I'm going to get it this week when they get the new tank installed. I'll let ya know if it solved the problem.

ok. I have also read that I need to get some more hours on the quad also, since I just got it yesterday the tank was recalled before I ever got to pick it up, and the motor has like 5 mins on it, so i probably wait until I get the magic 10 hours on it and then if it isn't better i'll take it in to have it adjusted.
