I've never ridden an LTR450 so can't compare, but to me the quad definitely handles better than anything else I've ever ridden, I absolutely love the handling of it.. Steering is quick and sharp and the quad loves to slide through turns..

Power wise, it definitely isn't the fastest quad out there. The bike does have instant throttle response and feels torquey but you can tell it's just to choked up to really have much top end. All I do is trail riding and it does decent, but my guess is would be better with a PCIII at least. I'm constantly having to change back and forth between 1st and 2nd gear in trails due to 1st gear being so tall. It does really well in the woods as long as you keep the revs up and work with the clutch a lot.

I definitely took it through it's paces this past weekend when I went to Coal Creek OHV (WindRock) in Oliver Springs, TN. IMO, I'd rather be riding a utility up there WAY to many rocks and stuff but the KFX went everywhere I wanted it to aside from bottoming out on a couple of rocks.. Rode for 10 solid hours (a few of them was when we were lost lol) and the bike performed flawlessly to all the abuse I threw at it..
