[KFX450Central]

Interested to see how it fairs against the YFZ, LTR, and TRX. anyone have any reports?

I raced a stock Rappy 700 and a honda 450r, I would get them out of the hole but they would catch and pass me REALLY quick. I even got beat by a KFX 700 that has alot of mods done to it, well in my defense I killed him the first race and the secound I had to let off and he crushed me from there out. The KFX 450 jumps better than all of friends and is easily the best handling.

i was up at silver lake sand dunes for opening day.

i saw two kfx450's one was on a huge semi factory team hauler it was Team Babbitts monster kawasaki which i have no clue who that is but they had a black one at the top of the lift of the trailer that they never pulled out, and we saw a white stock kfx with paddles.

i was only impressed by one thing really..... that i saw some up there

now im not dissing anyone who has one or likes it im just voicing my opion.

the kfx was drag racing and stuff and it really didnt impress me that much as any other 450.(but i havent rode it so its from a watching point of view i guess u can say)

my buddy jumped on my 450 to race because i tried and im not good at all. my yfz is completely stock except for jetting and i had stock tires too and that kfx had paddles and that kawi. got off the line better cause of the hook up of the paddles but as soon as my friend got my quad from spinning the tires he caught up to that kfx and many others with paddles and blew past them.

that guy might not have been very good rider though and he might have been heavier than everyone else.

That will happen in a drag w/a KFX in stock gearing. It maxes out when most shift into 5th. Too short of stock gearing.

Where did I read that before?

Oh yeah, your review from the Kawasaki test session. That was a sweet review. I haven't seen anything on ATV Source yet. Do you know when it will be there?

I was told anyday but Friday at the latest. I have about 300 photos of me riding the machine but just got them today and will be uploading a few online tonight or tomorrow. Nothing too special but some cool air and powersliding shots. One w/the suspension bottomed out too, lol.
