yz490 vs trx450r
We drag a 1982 yz490 2 stroke and a 2006 450r and the 490 got the 450 every time by least 8 bikes.It was crazy fast.

I dont get it. am I supposed to be suprised that a dirtbike beat a quad?
THrow that engine into a quad frame and it will win by a lot less. I hate to admit it, but dirtbikles are faster. I'd never buy one though. You're forgetting that even though it is old, the YZ490 is a two stroke and will put out more power than a four stroke of the same displacement. Compare a banshee to a raptor 350. THe banshee is the fastest stocker of all time and the raptor is well........ slow. 450r is still a good bike though.

Sorry I forgot about the quadzilla ya its faster but those engines were way unreliable and didn't last very long. I've always wanted a quadzilla though.
I'm not so sure about that i've got an '89 ZILLA thats given me less sh*t than any of the other two-strokes i've owned
